Kids learn by watching you. Cough or sneeze into your elbow, and sanitize frequently touched surfaces like doorknobs and phones. For your child, remember the standard school rule: keep them home until they are fever-free, vomit-free, and diarrhea-free for a full 24 hours without medication.
